Well, with absolutely NO HELP what-so-ever from the absentee developer of Optigold, I was able to figure out were he stored the Filemaker Pro 6 version for OSX on his FTP site. Then using a Warezd, (yes WARZED) serial, I installed FMPro6 on my constantly crashing and problematic Optigold Web Server.
The results:
12:19 up 4 days, 18:48, 2 users, load averages: 0.79 0.46 0.37
So far, so good... Only time will tell if this later/updated version of FMPro solves the problems I found with Web Companion crashing FM and Optigold.
Stay tuned for the never ending saga of the software with the least support!
